- Striptu is a tool supporting and automating certain activities related to issuing invoices.
- Using Striptu does not replace professional accounting, tax or legal services.
- Striptu performs activities on the basis of the data and settings used by the User and does not independently assess whether the manner of documenting or settling Transactions adopted by the User is correct.
- The User should independently establish the rules for the correct documentation and settlement of their business activity and, in case of doubt, seek the assistance of an appropriate specialist.
§ 3. Website
- The Terms of Service establish the rules of operation of the Website available at https://striptu.com.
- The exclusive right to operate the Website belongs to the Service Provider.
- Through the Website, the User may in particular:

- The Service Provider can be contacted via the e-mail address: [email protected].
- The Website is, as a rule, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to technical breaks, failures and other situations provided for in the Terms of Service.
§ 4. User Account and Conclusion of the Agreement
- Every User is entitled to create their own Account, provided that they meet the conditions for using the Service set out in the Terms of Service.
- In order to create an Account, the User is obliged to:
- complete the Registration form;
- provide the required data;
- read the Terms of Service;
- accept the Terms of Service;
- read the Privacy Policy.
- The User is obliged to provide data that is true, complete and up to date.
- Upon acceptance of the Terms of Service, an Agreement for the provision of the Service by electronic means is concluded between the User and the Service Provider.
- The Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period.
- Acceptance of the Terms of Service is voluntary, but without it the Agreement cannot be concluded and the Service cannot be used.
- Creating an Account enables the User to use the available functionalities of Striptu under the rules set out in the Terms of Service and in accordance with the selected Plan.
- One Account is intended for the User for whom it was created, unless the selected Plan provides for the possibility of it also being used by additional persons.
- The User is obliged to keep the data enabling access to the Account confidential and not to share it with unauthorised persons.
- If it is suspected that an unauthorised person has gained access to the Account, the User should immediately take the available steps to secure the Account and inform the Service Provider of the incident.
- The Service Provider is entitled to temporarily restrict access to the Account if this is necessary to ensure the security of the User, the Website, data or other Users.
- The Service Provider may block the Account or terminate the Agreement for important reasons, in particular in the event of:
- the User using the Service in a manner contrary to the law;
- gross or repeated violation of the Terms of Service;
- infringement of the rights of third parties;
- taking actions threatening the security of the Website or data;
- attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Service Provider's systems.
- If the nature of the violation so permits, before permanently blocking the Account or terminating the Agreement the Service Provider will inform the User of the identified violation and allow it to be remedied within an appropriate period.
- The provisions of point 13 do not apply if continuing to allow the use of the Account could lead to a violation of the law, a security threat or damage, or if, due to the nature of the violation, remedying it is not possible.
§ 5. Connecting Striptu to External Services
- Using the functionalities related to the automatic issuing of invoices requires connecting Striptu to the User's Stripe account and to an appropriate Invoicing System.
- The Connection is established in the manner indicated to the User on the Website.
- Depending on how a given external service operates, the Connection may require providing an API Key or granting Striptu appropriate access in another manner.
- By establishing the Connection, the User enables Striptu to perform only such operations as are needed to provide the Service and fall within the scope of the permissions granted by the User.
- The Service Provider does not require Striptu to be granted broader permissions than needed to perform the functionalities that the User makes use of.
- For the automation to work correctly, the User should ensure that the accounts used in Stripe and in the Invoicing System remain active and that the data enabling their connection to Striptu is up to date.
- The User should protect the API Key and other data enabling access to external services from unauthorised persons.
- The Service Provider applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the access data provided in connection with the use of the Service.
- The correct operation of the Connection depends both on the access data being up to date and appropriate permissions being maintained, and on the availability of the external services. A change to or expiry of access data, withdrawal of permissions, deactivation of an account, or technical changes on the part of the external provider may cause a temporary or permanent interruption of the automatic exchange of information.
- If Striptu detects an irregularity that may affect the automatic transfer of information, an appropriate message may be made available to the User in the Account or sent to the e-mail address assigned to the Account.
- The messages provided by Striptu are intended to make it easier for the User to use the Service and do not replace ongoing monitoring of whether the connections with external services used by the User remain active.
- The User's use of Stripe or the Invoicing System is also governed by the rules established by the provider of the given service. The Service Provider is not a party to the legal relationship between the User and that provider.
§ 6. Rules of Operation of the Automation
- Striptu performs activities automatically on the basis of information received from the services connected to the Account and the settings selected by the User.
- Data concerning Transactions may be retrieved from Stripe and then used to transfer to the Invoicing System the information needed to issue an invoice.
- The nature of the Service assumes that certain activities are performed by the system automatically, on the basis of the received data and the configuration made by the User. Individual operations do not require the Service Provider's approval each time.
- The User is obliged to correctly configure Stripe, Striptu and the Invoicing System to the extent necessary to perform the Service.
- The User is responsible for the correctness of the data and settings that they themselves enter or select in Stripe, Striptu or the Invoicing System.
- Performing a given operation may prove impossible if Striptu does not receive all the information needed to carry it out. In such a situation, it may be necessary to complete the data, change the configuration or perform the appropriate action directly in the Invoicing System.
- If such functionality is available, Striptu may indicate to the User that the performance of a given action has failed.
- After the cause of the problem has been removed, the User may retry the operation, if Striptu provides such a possibility.
- After the automation is first launched, the User should check whether the information transferred to the Invoicing System corresponds to the configuration made by them and the expected manner of operation of the Service.
- Re-checking the manner in which the automation operates is recommended after every significant change to the configuration of the services used, as well as after resuming a previously interrupted Connection.
- Before starting to use the automation, the User should make sure that the configuration they have adopted corresponds to the rules for documenting and settling their business activity. Striptu carries out operations on the basis of the data and settings provided or selected by the User.
§ 7. Payments and Subscription
- Access to the paid functionalities of Striptu takes place under a Subscription model.
- The current Plans, the amount of the fees, the Billing Periods and the scope of functionalities available in the individual Plans are indicated on the Website.
- Before starting a Subscription, the User receives information concerning the selected Plan, its price, the Billing Period and the rules of automatic renewal.
- A Subscription starts after the User selects a Plan and successfully makes the payment for the first Billing Period.
- The Subscription renews automatically for subsequent Billing Periods, unless the User cancels it before the start of the next Billing Period.
- In connection with the automatic renewal of the Subscription, the fee for the next Billing Period may be charged automatically using the payment method selected by the User, in accordance with the information presented to the User before the Subscription was started.
- Payments are handled via Stripe.
- If a payment is made by payment card and the card details are handled directly by the payment operator, the Service Provider does not store full payment card details.
- The User may cancel the Subscription at any time via the functionality available in the Account.
- Cancelling the Subscription means that it will not be renewed for the next Billing Period.
- The User retains access to the paid functionalities until the end of the paid-for Billing Period.
- Cancelling the Subscription does not in itself give rise to an obligation to refund the fee for a Billing Period that has already started, subject to cases in which an obligation to refund, to reduce the price or another entitlement arises from applicable law.
- If a payment for the next Billing Period is not successfully made, the Service Provider may retry collecting the amount due and then restrict access to the paid functionalities until the fee is paid.
- The Service Provider may change the prices of the Plans for important reasons, in particular in connection with a change in the scope of the Service, the costs of providing it, the costs of using external services or a change in the law.
- A price change does not affect a Billing Period that has already been paid for.
- The User will be informed of a price change applicable to the next Billing Period of an active Subscription with appropriate advance notice enabling the Subscription to be cancelled before the new price applies.
§ 8. Withdrawal from the Agreement
- A User who is a Consumer may withdraw from an Agreement concluded at a distance without giving a reason within 14 days from the date of its conclusion, subject to the exceptions provided for by applicable law.
- The rights set out in this part of the Terms of Service are also enjoyed by an Entrepreneur with consumer rights to the extent resulting from applicable law.
- To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the declaration of withdrawal before its expiry.
- The declaration of withdrawal may be sent electronically to the address: [email protected].
- The User may use the statutory model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.
- In the event of an effective withdrawal from the Agreement, the Service Provider will refund the payments due to the User within the time limit and under the rules resulting from applicable law.
- The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the User, unless the User expressly agrees to another method of refund that does not involve any additional costs for them.
§ 9. Complaint Procedure
- The User may submit complaints concerning the operation of the Website and the performance of the Agreement.
- Complaints should be submitted by e-mail to the address: [email protected].
- In the case of a complaint, the User should, where possible, indicate:
- the e-mail address assigned to the Account;
- a description of the problem;
- the date or approximate time of its occurrence;
- information allowing the Transaction to be identified, if the problem concerns a specific Transaction;
- other information that may help to establish the cause of the problem.
- The User may attach screenshots or other materials helpful in examining the complaint.
- The absence of some of the information indicated above does not result in the complaint being left unexamined, provided that its subject matter can be established on the basis of the data provided.
- The Service Provider examines complaints without undue delay.
- In the case of a Consumer or an Entrepreneur with consumer rights, a response to the complaint will be provided within the time limit resulting from applicable law, no later than within 14 days, unless specific provisions provide otherwise.
- The response will be provided to the User electronically, unless the User indicates another permissible manner of providing it.
§ 10. Liability
- The Service Provider exercises due diligence to ensure that Striptu operates correctly and enables the Service to be used in accordance with its intended purpose.
- The Service Provider is responsible for the provision of the Service to the extent remaining under its control, under the rules set out in the Terms of Service and resulting from applicable law.
- Striptu is a tool automating certain activities on the basis of data received from the connected services and the settings selected by the User. The Service Provider does not verify the correctness of the data, settings or Transactions each time before Striptu performs an automatic operation.
- The User bears responsibility for the correctness, completeness and up-to-dateness of the data that they enter, select or provide in connection with the use of Stripe, Striptu or the Invoicing System, as well as for the configuration of these services made by them and the Connections established between them.
- The User is responsible for determining how Transactions should be documented and settled in their business activity, including for the correctness of the invoicing rules applied, the data placed on invoices and the settings affecting the manner in which they are issued. Striptu does not assess the tax, accounting or legal correctness of the decisions made by the User.
- The Service Provider is not liable for the incorrect performance or non-performance of an operation if it results from data, settings, configuration, instructions or other information originating from the User, or from acts or omissions on the User's part.
- Nor is the Service Provider liable for the tax, accounting, legal or financial consequences resulting from the manner of documenting or settling Transactions adopted by the User.
- Striptu uses services provided by independent entities, in particular Stripe and the Invoicing System. The Service Provider has no influence over their availability, correct operation, scope of functionality or changes introduced by their providers.
- The Service Provider is not liable for the non-performance or incorrect performance of an operation to the extent that it is a consequence of circumstances concerning an external service for which the Service Provider is not responsible, in particular its failure, unavailability, delay in transferring data, change in its manner of operation or limitation of its functionality.
- The Service Provider is not liable for the consequences of the interruption or incorrect operation of the Connection caused in particular by the expiry, change or revocation of access data, the withdrawal of the required permissions, the deactivation of the User's account in an external service, or changes made by the User or the provider of that service.
- The User should monitor on an ongoing basis the operation of the Connections and the results of the automatic operations performed by Striptu, in particular after the Service is first launched, after a change of configuration or after a Connection is re-established.
- The User's failure to carry out the monitoring referred to above does not cause the Service Provider to assume responsibility for the data, settings, configuration or manner of documenting Transactions falling within the User's scope of responsibility.
- The Service Provider may temporarily restrict access to all or part of the Service if this is necessary in connection with technical work, updates, the removal of failures, ensuring security or the need to adapt Striptu to changes in external services. Where possible, the Service Provider will inform Users in advance of planned work causing a significant limitation of the availability of the Service.
- In relation to Users, the Service Provider's liability for lost profits is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
- The provisions of this part do not limit the rights of a Consumer or an Entrepreneur with consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
§ 11. Personal Data
- The controller of Users' personal data processed in connection with the conclusion and performance of the Agreement is the Service Provider.
- The detailed rules for the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy.
- Due to the manner in which the Service operates, Striptu may have access to the personal data of the User's customers or contractors located in Stripe or the Invoicing System, to the extent needed to perform the Service.
- If, with respect to such data, the User acts as a data controller and the Service Provider processes it on the User's behalf, the Service Provider acts as a processor.
- In the cases required by applicable law, the rules of such processing are set out in a separate personal data processing agreement.
- The User is responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for the processing and transfer of the data that they make available via Striptu.
- The rules for storing and deleting data are set out in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, in the personal data processing agreement.

- All rights to the Website and Striptu, including the rights to the name, the Internet domain, the software, the code, the layout of the Website, the documentation, the graphic elements, the logos and other elements constituting the subject of intellectual property rights, belong to the Service Provider.
- The conclusion of the Agreement does not result in the transfer of any rights to the Website or Striptu to the User.
- The User is entitled to use Striptu for the duration of the Agreement and only to the extent resulting from the intended purpose of the Service, the selected Plan and the Terms of Service.
- Without the Service Provider's consent, the following, in particular, is prohibited:

§ 13. Termination of the Agreement and Deletion of the Account
- The User may cancel the Subscription at any time.
- Cancelling the Subscription does not automatically result in the deletion of the Account or the immediate termination of the Agreement.
- After cancelling the Subscription, the User retains access to the paid functionalities until the end of the paid-for Billing Period.
- The User may terminate the Agreement by deleting the Account using the functionality available on the Website or by sending an appropriate request.
- Before deleting the Account, the Service Provider may verify whether the person submitting the request is entitled to dispose of the Account.
- Deletion of the Account results in the termination of the Agreement.
- Before deleting the Account, the User should secure the data that they may need after they stop using the Service.
- Deletion of the Account does not result in the deletion of invoices or other data stored directly by Stripe or the Invoicing System.
- After the termination of the Agreement, the Service Provider handles the data in accordance with applicable law, the Privacy Policy and the relevant personal data processing agreement.
- Data whose continued storage is required by law or is needed to establish, pursue or defend claims may be stored for an appropriate period also after the termination of the Agreement.

- In the case of changes affecting an ongoing Agreement, the date of entry into force of the changes will, as a rule, not be shorter than 14 days from the date the User is informed, unless an earlier entry into force of the change is required by law, security considerations or the need to counteract abuse.
- If the User does not accept changes concerning an ongoing Agreement, they may terminate the Agreement before the date on which they enter into force, subject to cases in which the change does not affect their rights or obligations or results directly from provisions of law.
- The Service Provider may introduce changes to the Service in particular in order to:
- adapt it to changes in the law;
- improve security;
- adapt Striptu to changes in Stripe, the Invoicing System or other external services;
- improve existing functionalities;

- adapt the Service to technological changes.
- A change to the Service does not entail additional costs for a Consumer or an Entrepreneur with consumer rights, unless the User separately decides to purchase a different Plan or an additional functionality.
- If a change to the Service significantly and negatively affects the access of a Consumer or an Entrepreneur with consumer rights to the Service or their use of it, the User will be informed of the change and of their rights in accordance with applicable law.

- The law applicable to Agreements concluded on the basis of the Terms of Service is Polish law.

- The Terms of Service are available on the Website in a manner enabling them to be acquired, reproduced and recorded free of charge.
- The Terms of Service enter into force on 1 September 2026.
