Global creators, local obligations
Digital creators operate globally — selling online courses on
Kajabi, publishing subscription newsletters on
Substack and building SaaS applications with AI tools like
Lovable,
Replit and
Cursor. These platforms enable knowledge monetisation without large initial investments. In Greece, however, they must comply with local tax rules — from invoice formatting to myDATA. Zoho Invoice as a global platform combined with Stripe offers a comprehensive solution.
What is Stripe? Its role in the new economy
Stripe is the leading global payment infrastructure platform. According to
Stripe Annual Update 2024, Stripe processes over one trillion dollars annually. The analysis
Stripe: Thinking Like a Civilization describes Stripe as the financial backbone of the internet. For Greek entrepreneurs, Stripe offers card payments (Visa, Mastercard), SEPA transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods. The API enables payment flow automation. However, Stripe does not issue invoices compliant with Greek law.
